Our vanishing tans

Woohoo! I started working: I cut vegetables 8 hours a day starting at 6 am! Doesn't it sound exciting? Well, I like vegetables! (this is Pietro, Yvonne likes rich spoiled kids) But still, we're gonna be homeless in 2 weeks. (No worries there, parents, we've got a bunch of sweet plans to choose from).

Pictures from the Blue Mountains, our Easter trip destination:

That's how it looks...beautifulness!

the famous 3 sisters: their wilderness amazes all the travellers and...their touristic reality (+yvonne's profile)

mo' views

and now an insight of the forest at the bottom: water+gravity=beautiful

a big rock in the wood that makes you thank god you weren't there when it fell, a big mosquito that you don't want to bite you

So, I'm in New York. I've never walked so much in my entire life. Actually I've never been so lost in my entire life. Attempting to decrypt the NY subway system has left me feeling uninspired and borderline panicked. I have a new found respect for the organizational skills of the Brits. Australia looks beautiful, you guys must be having a wonderful time over there.

Yvonne, attu ekki afmaeli bradum?

No, the great weighted!
I didn't know it was Yvonne's birthday. I'll take a photo of Giorgio, you can retire it when you come back.

Are you still under bridges?

Lots of kisses...

leo's shot
hey my beautiful travellers!!!
i'm agree with giorgio, in the terzona there isn't any strange waterfall and very big mosquito...
but don't worry with the climate change...everythink can Happen!
but now it's almost spring...and leo's farm is working!
this year you can buy potatoes...little pumpkins and many more...if someone there, in australia, need some vegetables...not fresh..almost damaged...like marcio (babelfish help me to traslate..but for him marcio is march...and i don't like this word)

well now like of customary i writhe a tipical prescription of italy
the pesto alla genovese!!!
ingredients
* 1 bunch of basil (the leaves without the stem)
* half glass of Carli Olive Oil, extravirgin recommended
* 1-2 garlic cloves,if you put more can make strange smell out of your mouth...but don't worry who eat a lot of garlic live more then 100 years!!! but don't make a lot of love with girl/men...
* one handful of pine nuts (or walnuts if those are unavailable)
* 3 spoonfuls of grated Parmigiano Reggiano the original...the lolas's one...lola ia the most famous italian's cow...but i prefere the milka one...do you never see a white and purple cow!?

Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix until the right consistency is reached (not too much otherwise the blender will raise the temperature modifying the taste). If the pesto is too thick you can add some olive oil or a few spoonfuls of the water used to cook the pasta before serving.

here is your macaronic boy

the26 april there's the first party in my farm...

bye belli

saluti da tutto il PD

what the fuck! What an amazing place! I could cut vegetables for hours and hours to have the chance of walking in these surroundings!
Stronzi!
and by the way... being homeless is not the experience you have been seeking for?

yes, we were very very excited about becoming homeless, but unfortunately we found a new room in a new house. so next week we will move in there. and the people are very nice (hopefully).
thanks for the prescription of the pesto, leo, it's delicious expecially with our handmade gnocchi, but oin english you have to say recipe, prescription is the ricetta di'mmedico. this was to show that now i know the english language.

Hello,
I'm new to the blog. Yvonne, I remember meeting you at the Bus Station in Mobile Alabama while waiting to board to ride to New Orleans. I remember talking to you and being very excited to hear what grand adventures the two of you were into. My name is Patti. I asked that you keep in touch and you gave me the address of this blogspot. I forgot completely about it until I was going thru my bag the other day (now 6 months later!!) and found the paper you wrote the blogspot on.

I went directly to the internet to look you up and read all about your grand adventures. In reading in your blog I discovered the couchsurfing site and am really excited to find such an organization exists. I want to go to Europe someday (Italy included!) in the not too distant future and this sounds really cool and reading about some of your adventures makes me even want to go sooner rather than later.

I'm going on a trip to Oregon in June so it will be later for the Europe trip.

Anyway, I think I'll become a member of the couchsurfing organization. In case you don't remember me I have included my website for my business at www.amassagematters.com which has pictures.

I live in Fairhope Alabama which is a few miles from Mobile.

I hope to follow along with your adventures and wish you the best of luck! I have been to several of the places you visited in the states. I recognized a lot of the pictures.

Happy Couchsurfing!

Patti
