Apocalypse now

We have to warn you that the end of the world is on the horizon.
And it is not because P managed to talk Y into hitch hiking down half of the country, about 500 kms, and it is not cause we actually managed to do it in one day. Neither is it because we then managed to find a free bed in a city we didn't know existed before that morning (thanks to the big heart of the couchsurfers all over the world). And it's not because we were hosted and fed in exchange for our gardening skills (ok you can laugh)(but it's true) 4 days in an organic farm.
Our eyes have been opened. The alarm has been sounded from the watch tower, and we were granted the privilege of hearing it! And here we are sharing it with our loved ones, so that you then will be able to spread the words of the Prophets.
It all starts with the fact that Germany is the strongest nation in the world, and has continued (underground, obviously) to nurse the ambition of taking over the world since the holy roman empire!!!!! And it is doing it. The European Union is only a cover up for Satan's nation's cruel plans, that rules NATO as well. Meanwhile on the other side of the Atlantic, Bush, obviously the Antichrist, is preparing a coup to keep ruling the US, which is anyway one of the most unifluential countries, while the electoral battle between a woman and a black man is nothing more than a distraction for the public.
The Pope, which has all the features of the Antichrist, too, watches and gives his blessing to both Germany and Bush (obvious from his recent visit to the Vatican Garden and not library).
But that's not all, as you'll notice. Who is the evil guy in all this? It's the Muslims and the Jews.
So prepare! cause in 3 year's time the world will be blood and fire and the fathers will be eating the sons!
This is not opinion, this is fact.
And there's nothing we can do, if you were wondering.

How do we know all this? Well, we weren't hosted and fed for clipping hedges, really. We have been enlightened on world politics/the latest Bible interpretations.

Other than that, we spent 4 nice days on an idillyc organic farm by the beach, met lovely kind-hearted people, Pietro got stung by amisterious fly and his hand swelled like a football as in the good old days (promptly healed through application of onion and honey, non ti preoccupare silva).
Now we are back in the real world, we rented a tiny car and went see the lovely Otago peninsula, and tomorrow we'll go to Queenstown to get our van that will take us back to the airport in Christchurch for our flight back to warm Australia on the 24th, next tuesday.
Bye to everyone, we are healthy wealthy and wise.\
Not THAT wealthy, depends compared to who.
love and kisses,\P&Y

My heart raced for the first half of your writing and I think you should really have said "non ti preoccupare Silva and Linda" at the beginning, just to prevent semi heart attacks in us more mature women! Hitchhiking, big bees, sleeping in strange places. I can´t wait to have you in good old southampton, safe and close.
Anyway, it all sounds fun, despite the end of the world prophesies. The end will never come because life is a circular thing, and it´s always worth studying, even if it´s only for the sake of the learning itself.
I´m in sunny America, on the "other" side of the Hudson river, overlooking Manhattan from the lounge window. It´s almost close enough to touch but far enough for me to be happy. I don´t like the hustle and the bustle of the big apple, I prefer the parks and water and view.
Peggy and Zoe say hi and Tony is coming tomorrow. We are having a great time.
lots of love

God will only punish those who've sinned, but since all men are inherently bad and we're most of us gluttons for punishment I recommend you say 5 Hail Mary's, stop thinking about the devil so much and just plain hope for the best! Well, alrighty then.
